Sam has been painting on and off for around 6 years now, she has been obsessed with art for as long as she can remember. Even as a young child she would love producing stunning artwork.

She completed a 2 year course in Art and Design achieving 2 A-levels, since then she has been working full time at her local B&Q store but is desperate to make a living from her art.
It is her short term aim to set up her own stall selling high quality prints of her paintings which she makes herself, these are for sale on her website.

Sam is a Landscape artist, all her inspiration comes from her surroundings, the sky, the sea, the land. The world is ever-changing and is always beautiful, she is fascinated how you can take a picture of the same place at different times and it will never look the same, something always changes.

She works with oil paints as she loves the richness of the paint, the fact that it takes so long to dry is fantastic, as you can blend the colours as much as you like and can achieve some very striking colours. Most her surfaces used are chunky canvases as they look so modern and can be hung on the wall straight away with no need to frame them. She has been known to use canvas boards as some pieces just look better put into an extravagant frame.
