I am Amanda Valmont,

I am an art student, so i am still developing my style, however, i think i am just about there. my work has been called low art, and art for the people, because it isn't the kind of work you'd find in the tate, and i'm proud of that.

A lot of my work is made from fully recycled materials, and takes inspiration from my cultural history. (my relatives are basque-land gypsies) and also from things that are important to me, festivals, protests, and current affairs.

I like deceptively beautiful art, art which may at a glance just be a pretty picture, but when you look deeper, the sinister side appears. i play with this a lot in my work.....

I would like to get my work out into the open more, at charity events, protests or festivals, so if you would like work done for you, or for an event, please dont hesitate to email me, and we'll talk about it.
