I have been drawing,painting,and putting things down on paper for longer than I can remember,though feel that my work is only recently of a standard that I can be proud of. I am self taught,finding there is a need to create borne of necessity,like some self help therapy!From making an idea real through visualisation,will,and ritual,it feels like a magical process in the true sense of the word.These ideas and images reveal themselves either as dream stills or can be there when waking or show themselves on the paper like automatic drawing. My work mostly targets human and organic forms,twisting,reaching and evolving out of and beyond their usual and recognizable limitations and perameters,in alternate transitional and unrestrained states of being,body and soul being separate or disslocated entities.
