I am natural artist who has learned from years of experience in hands on graphic, theatrical and textile design as well as individual artworks. I love to experiment with art and refuse to restrict myself to one style or technique. Watercolours, Acrylics, Mixed Media, Textiles and Digital Arts are all playgrounds. I combine techniques and approaches for unusual results; one of my favorites is the incorporation of collage in my work. The resulting images are rich with texture and color. One think you can be assured of is that there is a passion in whatever I produce as that is the only way I work. Art is about passion and who has more passion than a readhead? What I love most about art is the freedom of expression that it allows. I have always been an artist, but I am still developing and exploring new techniques.....there are still lots of things I want to try and I hope you will share the journey with me. |
