I started my sculpting quite late really, I was in my late 20s when i really discovered my eye for this wonderful art sculpting. I have absolutely no formal art qualifications but this has not stopped me from working much harder because I lack this start. My early exploits were a great learning process for what has become a major part of my life. Of course my friends and family were all very supportive and took great joy from my work and also encouraged me to work harder. My great inspiration has come from seeing other great sculptors like Henry Moore who's work I love and feel a great empathy for. I can only hope that my work wouid even come close to such great sculptors like Henry Moore. I hope that my work will become better and hopefully with some time and patience my work will become noticed. Currently I am working with coins mainly due to the fact that they really are mesmerising in their raw nakedness, the power of the finished form truly has to be seen to be believed, the power of money!!!
